“Whether a valued client is a high income / high net worth individual, or a foundation, or a family saving for retirement, we endeavor to build understandable, reliable, diversified and conservative quality portfolios in individual, joint or trust account(s), for both qualified (IRA) and non-qualified money, meant to grow and generate income for life.”
Born and raised in Southern California, Larry attended public schools in the San Fernando Valley before earning his B.A. in political science at the University of California at Berkeley. He graduated in 3 years as Class Speaker.
He next earned his law degree at the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., and has been a member of the California Bar since 1988.
Choosing to grow first as an entrepreneur, Larry built up a dynamic account base in the 2 & 4 color and forms printing business. Anticipating the rise and consequences of computer communications on commercial printing sales in the 1990’s, he favorably transitioned out of the printing industry and then leveraged his legal background, working as an advisor in charitable gift and estate planning for donors and families as Vice President of the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles, a philanthropy whose assets are approaching $1 Billion.
Turning next to the Equity Markets, Larry became securities licensed in 1999, and managed high-net worth capital and traded U.S. listed and over-the-counter equities against the best traders in the world, in the tense daily, hourly, and minute-by-minute action of for-profit equity trading.
After these years of business sales and service, philanthropic advisory counseling, and professional securities trading, Larry turned his attention to giving back by participating in a number of non-profit organizations, both as a community leader and as a highly regarded chief executive.
Larry proudly enlisted and served in the Armed Forces of the United States in U.S. Naval Intelligence Reserves, earning an honorable discharge. He has traveled to over 80 countries.
His professional posts included serving as the Publisher of the Journal of International Security Affairs, Regional Director of the Israel Cancer Research Fund, and Executive Director of the Reagan Legacy Foundation (RLF). At the RLF, Larry helped to establish the permanent exhibit in honor of our nation’s 40th President at the Checkpoint Charlie Museum in Berlin, developed liberty education programs for American and European youth who travel along the “Reagan trail”, and organized scholarships for the families of sailors who serve aboard the USS Ronald W. Reagan, CVN ’76.
Larry’s public activity has included giving hundreds of motivating lectures to civic and religious organizations, and he is highly regarded by Members of Congress, media personalities, and civic and business leaders in California and nationally for his thoughtful approach to public affairs issues. He has contributed intellectually as a Lincoln Fellow and Fellow in American Studies at the prestigious Claremont Institute for the Study of Statesmanship & Political Philosophy, and as Fellow of the Wexner Heritage Foundation. Larry is also a member of the prestigious Pacific Council on International Policy.
In 2013, Larry returned to the Capital Markets in a senior capacity at the Los Angeles office of Arete Wealth Management, managing approximately 500 accounts and $100 million in assets.

Larry’s savvy and sensitivity earned during a career that has featured intense exposure to business, the financial markets, the charitable and public affairs world, and local, state, national and international affairs allows for a seasoned understanding of reliable wealth management principles and techniques in a technological and ever-changing world.
His philosophy is simple: kindness to all individuals, loyalty to friends, extraordinary client service and excellence in his professional endeavors, and unapologetic advocacy for the meaning and morality of human freedom. He supports several causes, including assisting our veterans and wounded warriors.
In addition to his daily work with clients, Larry keeps fit by regular swimming. He enjoys sports, a diverse personal library, the occasional romantic comedy, and the humorous battle of wits with a wide network of friends, clients, and associates.
